Super Taco

Always friendly folks waiting to make you some carne asada tacos and chilli relleno tacos (my favorite combo). When i lived here in the area i did what was called the the goat taco tour. This consisted of trying every taco joint in town and there were alot. The end result was Super taco for the best taste and price. Dont forget to get home of their verdi salsa.

I've been going to this place well over 10 years and I still love it! My only gripe is that they have cheap napkins and the asada can get pretty greasy sometimes but none of this stuff keeps me away. I always order the asada burrito and I just use a ton of napkins. This location has an indoor eating area and they have a small patio area if you'd like to eat outside. Small parking area in the front of the restaurant. They have fountain drinks and they serve horchata, piña and agua de Jamaica. They offer all the fixings at a little station to the side. I really love the green salsa. The prices are good and the amount of food you get is great. Overall, I love this restaurant and I will continue to come here for as long I can.

I just love the service. The meat is always fresh and not excessively greasy or fatty. And the salsa bar is one of my faves. Try the $12.99 dinner plate that come with choice of meat, rice and beans, I'm telling you 2 people could eat from that plate comfortably.

Walking up to Super Taco it doesn't give off the best impression (considering the sign is burnt), but don't let that deter you from coming inside. I've been coming to this place since I was in highs school and it's just as good now as it was back then. This place KNOWS how to make good burritos and tacos. They are giant and you will definitely leave satisfied. Try the green salsa from the salsa bar and make sure you get plenty of lemons! You won't regret coming here, probably one of the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants in town.

We still love coming here. It truly is love at first bite! Today we ordered 4 asada tacos and 2 chicken tacos and like always they where excellent! Consistency is key and Super Tacos is always consistent, at least every time we've come in they are. We've been trying different hole in the wall type mexican places in bakersfield lately to see which one serves the best and most authentic food and nothing so far has been able to top Super Tacos on our list. The asada and Chicken are so FRESH, tender and flavorful, although they boil there chicken it is still the best boiled chicken I have ever tasted! I'm not sure if the grill the chicken too? But it tastes so darn good! the chicken is not seasoned its just an authentic chicken flavor ( once you add the onions, cilantro and salsa though it just enhances it all!) ( as you can see in the pictures i took the chicken looks plain but trust me it far from it) Plus they make your tacos fat! Very generious on the meat! Today they had a couple of new options near the salsa bar, Spices! One being red pepper flakes and the other oregano (I believe) even though I would not use them for my tacos, I'm sure someone could use them for something. Nice to see the passion in there work. They keep the place very clean, within the little bit of time we where there the workers came and wiped the tables , trash can area and salsa bar multiple times. There all very friendly too, I accidently split some of my drink and they where just so nice about it :) The salsa bar was fully equipped with salsa , cilantro& onion mixed and lemons, the green salsa is to die for! Mild with a little kick in the butt. And I like the fact that they let you add your own onions, cilantro and salsa to your liking. The FRESCAS espically the Pinas are my favorite , made fresh daily and are perfect in flavor and sweetness. Its always a pleasure here at Super Tacos and I am happy to spend my money here lol. BOTTOM LINE, BEST MEXICAN HOLE IN THE WALL TYPE RESTURAUNT IN BAKERSFIELD.

We picked up our car from Garcia’s auto down the street and popped in for breakfast. The inside is clean as a whistle all the tables are immaculate so that set the tone right away. The order was taken by a friendly down to earth woman, don’t you love it when people give off a good, kind vibe? Steve ordered chorizo with scrambled eggs and it came with refried beans and hash browns accompanied with really big flour tortillas. I had the green chilaquiles and they were Bomb! Someone in the kitchen really likes their chips small and now so do I. They are bite size triangles Not only does the sauce hit the spot its full of meat! I like my eggs over easy and they were a bit over cooked but that’s on me because I didn’t specify. My beans were not like my grandma’s beans (full of flavor) but I would try another item on the menu next time. It was such a sizable amount of food I couldn’t finish my meal.
